We love going on trails and adventures in our Jeep. One way to get outdoors and visit some great trails across the U.S. is through the Jeep Badge of Honor program

Jeep has done a great job of collecting nationwide trails to explore. All you need to do is download the Jeep Badge of Honor program app to see trail maps, information, highlights, difficulty ratings, and user photos. The app is also how you check in to the trail. The Jeep specifically creates these badges to reward those who successfully check in and complete a trail.

Hey adventurers! 🚐

Did this episode spark some wanderlust, or did it remind you of one of your own off-the-beaten-path stories? If you felt that campfire friendship while listening, we would be super grateful if you’d take a moment to pop over to Apple Podcasts. Please leave us a rating, maybe say hi in the review section, and don’t forget to subscribe. It’s like giving a friendly nod to a fellow RVer on the open road.

Do you have a hidden gem of a location you think we should explore next? Or maybe a practical tip for full-time RV living? Leave us a message—this journey is all the richer when shared with the community.

🏞️ Safe travels, and see you down the road!

Trails we completed in the Jeep Badge of Honor program

marblehead
South Marble Head Loop on Drummond Island was our first trail in the Jeep Badge of Honor program

South Marble Head Loop on Drummond Island

  • Trail information
  • Drummond Island Ferry is a one-mile ride to the island across the St. Mary's River.
  • DeTour, MI, is at the eastern end of the Upper Peninsula.
  • We purchased the required Michigan ORV and trail permits for $36.25 from Johnson's Sport Shop on the island.
  • You will encounter lots of steps, ledges, rocks, mud, views of Canada, and fun! You can get most of the way through the trail in a stock Jeep. We just didn't do that very last obstacle. We did walk down it and see the water.
  • We camped at the Township Park for $20 per night, but there are other campgrounds as well.
  • We also ran the Fossil Ledges Trail to the island's northern shore. This was a lot of fun because the trail was flooded and, at times, was deep enough to touch the bottom of the Jeep.
