- The town’s old schoolhouse dates back to 1896, although the interior reflects how it should have looked in the 1930s.
- Petroglyphs
- Designated an International Dark Sky Park in 2015

- There are no hotels in Capitol Reef
Tips for all National Parks
- Go in the evening
- Visitor center first because it closes
- Get the Annual pass to save as much money as possible
