We're still comfortably nestled at my parents' place. This arrangement has been nothing short of a blessing &#8211; we've been sharing dinners, stories, and laughs. More importantly, they've generously offered storage space for our stuff as we continue our RV remodel. The tools and garage have been the best thing. We're endlessly grateful for their support.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Speaking of the remodel, we've made great strides since episode 79. Remember when we told you about the desk that was in the works? The RV's front half looks fantastic! We painted the walls grey matte wall for contrast. We also put up some&nbsp;<a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.menards.com\/main\/paint\/paneling-planking\/paneling\/dpi-trade-brick-4-x-8-gaslight-wall-panel\/288\/p-1444428737748-c-8168.htm?tid=33aab972-7c5b-4feb-9202-2d7a8213d42a&ipos=2&exp=false\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">brick paneling<\/a>&nbsp;and&nbsp;<a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/amzn.to\/433UOii\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">room dividing curtains<\/a>. (These are the&nbsp;<a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/amzn.to\/3Nwc0am\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">hooks<\/a>,&nbsp;<a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/amzn.to\/3JBHgUa\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">tie-backs<\/a>, and&nbsp;<a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/amzn.to\/3pwKrpe\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">poles<\/a>&nbsp;we used.) Other additions include&nbsp;<a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/amzn.to\/434KZR5\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">shades<\/a>&nbsp;for the door and over the sink, a new&nbsp;<a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.homedepot.com\/p\/Hampton-Bay-6-ft-L-x-39-in-D-Unfinished-Teak-Solid-Wood-Butcher-Block-Island-Countertop-With-Square-Edge-ISL-FSC-U\/320434254\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">butcher block<\/a>&nbsp;countertop,&nbsp;<a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/amzn.to\/44oaX33\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">sink<\/a>, faucet, and&nbsp;<a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/amzn.to\/3JzsfSM\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">drinking faucet<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We have also added some great little touches, like new&nbsp;<a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/amzn.to\/3PC1X69\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">baskets for fruit and veggies<\/a>,&nbsp;<a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/amzn.to\/3Xydbuu\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">paper towel holder<\/a>,&nbsp;<a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/amzn.to\/3NyDNXv\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">and shelves<\/a>. We also replaced our old induction stove and bought a&nbsp;<a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.homedepot.com\/p\/Empava-12-in-Electric-Modular-Induction-Cooktop-Smooth-Surface-in-Black-with-2-Elements-EMPV-IDC12\/311284004\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">vertical one<\/a>&nbsp;to save space.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We're not done yet, though. We're eyeing up new captain seats and contemplating modifying the table, and we've started work on the back half of the RV. After a visit to the doctor, Lexie, our little ray of sunshine, is now rocking a stylish arm sling for the next six weeks. We are also talking about braces for both girls and looking into&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/orthoinc.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">orthodontic treatment<\/a>&nbsp;and may have found the perfect spot that's located in NM, AZ, CO, and UT. We will share more information on this after we get more information in Novemeber.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"jeep-trail-adventures\">Jeep Trail Adventures<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>In the spirit of Father's Day, we hit the Jeep Trails, and boy, was it an adventure! Our first route took us through&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.trailsoffroad.com\/scout-routes\/1264-st-helen-to-denton-orv-route\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">St. Helen to Denton ORV<\/a>,&nbsp;with an 11.65-mile stretch. The second trail,&nbsp;Emery Road, was almost as long, at 10.91 miles.
