About Us: The Faiolas
Hey there, fellow traveler—welcome to The Faiolas! We’re a full-time RV family living life on the open road since 2019. Whether you’re dreaming about ditching the suburbs for the highway or just looking for honest campground reviews, RV tips, or fun family travel stories, you’re in the right place.
We’re Kristen and Tony, along with our daughters Kylie and Lexie—and yep, our two adventure-loving dogs, Elsa and Freya, round out the crew. Our journey began with a simple idea: we wanted more out of life than a daily commute and weekends lost to chores.
Our Story
We sold everything, packed up, and traded our traditional home for a home on wheels. With Tony “retiring” from the 9–5 and Kristen working remotely to fuel our adventures, we hit the road in December 2019 and haven’t looked back since.
Since then, we’ve crisscrossed the U.S. (and parts of Canada), chasing sunsets, uncovering hidden gems, and building a life full of memories and motion. Tony’s our adventure planner—always scouting the next epic trail or off-grid boondocking spot—while Kristen keeps us rolling (literally) by supporting our travels with remote work.
From the peaks of the Rockies to quiet desert hideaways, we’ve learned the best adventures usually begin where the pavement ends—especially once we added the Jeep to the mix (seriously, best decision #2!).
