National Park Wonders
Our Canadian checklist includes some jaw-dropping national parks. First up, Waterton Lakes, where the prairies meet the peaks—a spot that promises stunning biodiversity. Then there’s Mount Revelstoke, a paradise of subalpine meadows, just a hop from our RV door.
And who could skip Banff, with its iconic Lake Louise and charming town vibes? We also can’t wait to explore Yoho National Park, Glacier National Park (in Canada), and Yoho National Park.
Last but not least, we’re gearing up for the Icefields Parkway Drive, renowned for its breathtaking vistas.
Passport Information
Getting our passports was a journey in itself that proved to be a mix of DIY and a few unexpected turns. We took our own passport photos and added them to a 5×7 template I found on Etsy. We then had them printed at Walmart.
With our snapshots in hand, we took the 20-minute drive to the county clerk’s office, only to realize we’d forgotten a crucial item—our birth certificates. After a quick dash home and back again, we encountered another hiccup—the kids’ photos were slightly off in size. Back at Walmart, we went for a quick reprint, tweaking the template to ensure perfection.
With the county clerk’s 4 p.m. passport processing deadline approaching, we ended up at the post office to finish the process. Despite the back-and-forth and the race against time, we sorted everything out.
