In this episode, we give you our move day and road trip tips on keeping your kiddos (and yourself) happy.  Our road trips in the Jeep can be a couple of hours to all day in the car. Many of our road trips are going to a Jeep trail, so that's even longer in the Jeep. Our move days can range from an hour to five hours. We have even had a couple of nine-hour days, and that's a long time driving in an RV.

First, I would like to point out that we try to stay at spots anywhere in one location from a week to a month. We are not moving the RV every day. To be honest, we don't have a lot of one-week stays.

Our goal for move days is to keep the move less than 4 hours daily.  We use RV Trip Wizard, and they have a great tool that allows you to determine how far you would like to go and see a radius on the map. Our settings allow us to choose between 100, 15, and 200 miles.

We bought the DVD players on Amazon. I'm linking to them even though it says “Currently Unavailable” because I'm sure it will be back. I would recommend finding one where you can watch different movies or the same movie at the same time—the girls use both options equally.
